This year’s Energy category is themed as ‘Fueling a more sustainable future’ and our founders’ commitment and vision to develop technologies for a more energy-efficient infrastructure was recognized by the esteemed panel of judges from the Energy industry – Carol Battershall (retired acting director of the Office of Policy of the US Department of Energy), Lord John Browne (Executive Chairman – L1 Energy, former CEO – BP), Tim Latimer (co-founder, Fervo Energy) and Emily Reichert (CEO, Greentown Labs).

Both Matthew and Aashay were elated by this news and continue to work to bring EnKoat’s energy-efficient coatings to market. They believe that this recent success will provide a huge boost to an early-age startup like EnKoat and will definitely open some doors. ‘2019 has been a great year for us, and getting into the #ForbesUnder30 is a great way to enter into the new year’, says Aashay. ‘This is huge. I’d never thought I’d be in the Forbes list. I am confident that we are moving in the right direction and big things are going to happen’, says Matthew.
