EnKoat team bagged the first prize at the Arizona State University’s Venture Devils 2018 Demo Day. The team was selected to participate under the Grad-Tech category and won the award for best graduate technology startup under the Hool-Coury Grad-Tech challenge. EnKoat was one of the two teams to win under the Grad-Tech challenge category and secured one of the highest prizes awarded at the event. The event held at ASU’s SkySong innovations was packed with young entrepreneurs from ASU and the Phoenix community and was the perfect place for networking with key people in the Phoenix ecosystem. Co-Founder Matthew Aguayo said, “It was unbelievable. There were some great pitches in the grad-tech category. But I think, we really engaged with the judges during our presentation and our idea and overall pitch was executed to the plan. I definitely think that this prize money can take us to the next step where we are planning to execute pilots to validate our product.”
