EnKoat was selected to participate in the 2019 Rice Business Plan Competition with 41 other student-led startups from all over the world. The RBPC boasts as the world’s richest and largest graduate student venture competition with over $2M to be won in investment and cash prizes. The competition will take place at Rice University in Houston, Texas on April 4-6, 2019. Co-Founder Matthew Aguayo marked this as one of the milestones in EnKoat’s history and said, “We have always believed in our technology and our vision with this technology. Over the past few months, we have made great progress with our business plan and fine-tuning our product. We have built a great team with advisers in business, sales and marketing to fill in some of the gaps that our team had. We were confident that we will get selected.” Co-Founder Aashay Arora also sounded extremely optimistic about it and said, “We are looking forward to the competition and gearing in full steam in our preparations. We are absolutely excited to share our idea with the global community at Rice and win some investment and key connections.”
