Inventors Aashay Arora and Matthew Aguayo filed the provisional patent for EnKoat’s wall coating technology today with the help of ASU’s SkySong inventions. The team added yet another milestone in their profile with this achievement. The team had been working with SkySong attorneys for the last four months to get the provisional patent drafted and this announcement comes at the right time when the team is preparing to commercialize the EnKoat technology. The team has been in talks lately with local utility companies to set up pilots at their test facilities and getting the provisional patent is one step in seeking protection for their innovations. The team will now move forward to obtain the exclusive license to commercialize EnKoat from ASU.
